On a Sunday, shall I say over forty years ago, I was in the hospital giving birth to my first child, my daughter, Teresa. She is a great person, I love her to pieces, and I am so happy she is in my life. Not to mention that she has blessed me with three fabulous grandchildren that I love beyond bounds! Happy, happy Birthday dear Sesa!
On the other hand, today is the day we all should remember, as we munch our way through our barbecue dinners, the men and women who sacrificed for our freedom. I lost friends during the Vietnam War and feel their loss every Memorial Day. Every day, I live with my Vietnam War Vet and I see the residual damage that war did to him. Please take a moment today to think about those that gave their all for each and every one of us in each and every war.

If you have been following my blog, you know that my forty plus year old sewing machine finally died and I got a brand new Brother SE 400. Fancy schmancy, it sews and embroiders too! I was hesitant to try out the embroidery aspect until I decided to make some Christmas gifts.
